Blood Circulatory System:-
The blood circulatory system is one of the most organ system in the body of animals. It transmits nutrients and oxygen to the parts of body. And takes carbon dioxide from the cells of body.
Hemodynmics is the study of blood flow. And the study of the properties of blood flow is called hemorheology.
Blood circulatory system is also called cardiovascular system or vascular system. Humans have closed blood circulatory system. The blood never leaves the blood vessels. In contrast, oxygen, carbon dioxide and nutrients diffuse across the vessels. Blood circulatory system consists of Heart, Blood and vessels(Arteries,Capillaries, Veins).
Heart:-
The heart pumps the oxygenated blood to the body and the deoxygenated blood to the lungs. There are four chambers of the heart.
i-Left Atrium:- The left atrium receives oxygenated blood from the lungs.
ii-Right Atrium:- It is the upper-right chamber of the heart. And the deoxygenated blood is received to right ventricle.
ii-Left Ventricle:- Oxygenated blood receives from right atrium is pumped to aorta.
iv-Right Ventricle:- Deoxygenated blood received from right atrium is pumped to lungs for reoxygenation.
Blood:-
Blood consists of plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. On average, an adult had blood approximately 7% of their body weight.
i-Artries:- Artries supply blood from heart to the body.
ii-Capillaries:-Artries divides into arterioles and then again into capillaries.
iii-Veins:-The capillaries merge into venules, which merge again into veins.
